Thought: Some find the Christian life too restrictive and dull. They like the idea of going to heaven, but hate the disciplines of the Christian life. Going to church on Sunday morning seems like necessary drudgery. Daily Bible reading gets in the way of other things. Prayer comes on the tail-end instead of the front-end of everything. Is this how God envisions relationship with him? Get your mind off of what you think you have to do and on what you get to do. God is preparing you now to spend all eternity with him. If you'll live each day with your heart set on eternity, your life with Christ will have new meaning.
